Hospitality Internship Program
The Hospitality Internship Program (HIP) is a paid 12-week summer program designed to provide selected undergraduate students with and opportunity to gain the practical work experience necessary for a successful career in the hospitality industry.
You will join us in one of a variety of entry-level positions where you will have opportunities to interact with supervisors, managers, and directors. This is a paid internship where you will work at least forty hours a week and attend training classes offered through the MGM Grand University. Additionally, you will participate in a weekly Executive Speakers series and attend several exclusive executive guided tours of MGM MIRAGE properties and business units. Through MGM Grand University's Hospitality Internship Program, you may be placed at MGM MIRAGE properties such as MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, The Mirage, Luxor, Treasure Island (TI), or MGM MIRAGE Corporate.
The Hospitality Internship Program offers internships in many departments, including Hotel Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Food and Beverage, Slot Operations, Corporate Diversity & Community Affairs, Convention Services, Philanthropy, Entertainment Administration and Special Events.

Advanced Degree Internship Program
The Advanced Degree Internship Program (ADIP) is a paid 10-week summer program designed to provide selected graduate students with an opportunity to integrate higher-level academic theory and principles with strategic business initiatives. You will participate in a highly engaged practical learning experience by exploring and challenging the value of blended learning and operations within the hospitality industry. Interns may have the opportunity to shadow various departments or divisions upon request.
You will attend weekly guest speaker presentations by MGM MIRAGE executives, and may participate in the undergraduate Hospitality Internship Program (HIP) weekly executive speaker series. The program involves working at least forty hours per week.
Through the Advanced Degree Internship Program, you may be placed at properties in the following areas: Hotel Operations, Slot Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Food & Beverage, Marine Biology (Shark Reef), and Corporate.
